KÖTTER Security intends to continue on its successful path as the largest family-owned company in the security industry in Germany and a top provider of smart security solutions. To this end, the management level has now been additionally strengthened.

Since July 1, Jörg Marmann has been acting as the new Managing Director of KÖTTER Sicherheitssysteme SE & Co. KG. The 53-year-old brings around 20 years of management experience in the market for security, building and fire protection technology as well as technical building management to the company. He also holds a Master of Engineering degree in preventive fire protection as well as being an expert in preventive fire protection. The family-owned company intends to make use of these competencies and to sustainably push its good positioning in the growth market of safety technology.

Jörg Marmann succeeds Andreas Kaus, who has been at the helm of KÖTTER Sicherheitssysteme since the spin-off in 2010 and is now accompanying the transition process. At the same time, Kaus is preparing for additional management tasks in NRW.

There, on January 1, 2024, Andreas Kaus will succeed Roland vom Brauck, who will retire at the end of the year, as Managing Director for KÖTTER SE & Co. KG Security, Düsseldorf, and KÖTTER Logistik & Service SE & Co. KG. The 58-year-old will thus also be responsible for the Aachen, Bonn, Düsseldorf, Cologne and Wuppertal branches and thus manage the entire security services business in Germany’s most populous state. Andreas Kaus is already, among other things, Managing Director of Westdeutscher Wach- und Schutzdienst Fritz Kötter SE & Co. KG and KÖTTER Security SE & Co. KG, Münster, which cover the Ruhr area and Münsterland respectively as far as East Westphalia.

With Roland vom Brauck, a “veteran” of the security industry will leave the company. The 67-year-old has held management positions for over three decades, including 17 years in the KÖTTER Security Group: since the end of 2016 as Managing Director of KÖTTER SE & Co. KG Security, Düsseldorf, and KÖTTER Logistik & Service SE & Co. KG and previously as Branch Manager for around ten years.

KÖTTER Security, Munich: Dirk H. Bürhaus Chairman of the Management Board

At the same time, KÖTTER SE & Co. KG Security, Munich, has also expanded its management team and created new structures as a result. Since July 1, Lars Homann has been responsible as the new Managing Director for the Bavarian region with the locations Augsburg, Fürth, Munich, Nuremberg and Würzburg. The 47-year-old brings with him around 15 years of management experience in the security industry, including his earlier career from trainee to operations manager at KÖTTER Security. At the same time, Thomas Nasshan, one of the company’s own junior executives, has been promoted to Managing Director. In this function, he has been managing the activities in Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland with the branches in Frankfurt am Main, Heilbronn, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Saarbrücken and Stuttgart since July. The 57-year-old thus remains the permanent contact person for customers and employees, having already held this position for almost nine years as an authorized signatory. In the course of the restructuring, Sören Stübing, the authorized signatory previously responsible for business in Bavaria, also took over the position of sales manager. Overall responsibility for KÖTTER SE & Co. KG Security, Munich, continues to be borne by Managing Director Dirk H. Bürhaus in his new function as Chairman of the Board.

“I am proud that KÖTTER Security has been able to strengthen itself with both external expertise and experienced in-house minds, while at the same time maintaining the important continuity at the management level,” said Board Member Friedrich P. Kötter. “With this line-up, our family-owned company will continue to sustainably expand its integral solutions from security services and technology as well as its presence in the nationwide, regional and local markets. I wish all those responsible every success in their respective tasks. At the same time, I would like to thank Roland vom Brauck in advance for his many achievements, which we will honor in detail at a later date.”
