New MOBOTIX Supervisory Board Appointed

Giovanni Santamaria appointed to the Management Board of MOBOTIX AG

Following the acquisition of the majority shareholding in MOBOTIX AG by the CERTINA GROUP, three new members were appointed to the Supervisory Board of MOBOTIX AG by the Kaiserslautern Local Court at the request of the Management Board and the CERTINA GROUP:

  • Maik Brockmann, Managing Partner of the CERTINA GROUP
  • Tobias Meier, Private Equity Manager of the CERTINA GROUP
  • Tobias Eiblmeier, Head of Mergers & Acquisitions of the CERTINA GROUP

Tobias Eiblmeier was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

The new Supervisory Board of MOBOTIX AG has appointed Giovanni Santamaria, Managing Partner of the CERTINA GROUP in Munich, as an additional member of the Management Board of MOBOTIX AG with immediate effect. The Management Board team of MOBOTIX AG warmly welcomes the new Management Board member: “We are very much looking forward to a cooperative and successful collaboration with Giovanni Santamaria. MOBOTIX AG will benefit enormously from his great expertise in the IT sector and his diverse international experience,” said CEO Thomas Lausten on behalf of the entire Management Board and staff.

Giovanni Santamaria is Managing Partner at the CERTINA GROUP, where he is responsible for the IT division and all investments in Italy. Following various management positions at PwC, GE Capital and Autoscout24, where he held the position of CFO, Santamaria has been part of the CERTINA GROUP management team since 2004. During his career, he has been responsible for numerous corporate transactions in Italy, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA.
