July 10, 2026

At the SicherheitsExpo 2026 in Munich, SimonsVoss unveiled the FORTLOX Series, a new mechatronic locking system designed to protect critical infrastructure and sensitive areas within organisations. The solution is designed for applications with high demands on physical security and resilience, and was developed for use in large corporate complexes and technical infrastructure.

The FORTLOX Series comprises the battery-free FORTLOX Cylinder and the FORTLOX Key as the locking medium. The freely programmable system can be managed centrally or decentrally via the AXM software or, alternatively, via the LSM software. According to the company, the knobless locking cylinder is compatible with electronic fittings, electronic knob cylinders and control units from the SimonsVoss portfolio.

Alongside this trade fair launch, SimonsVoss presented further solutions for digital access management. These included the System 3060 as a digital locking solution for businesses, Smart Intego for integration into building management systems, and the SmartHandle AX SmartIntego digital interior door fitting, which is specifically designed for use in hotels. The hotel solution is implemented in collaboration with the certified system integrator Jack-in GmbH.

The company’s trade fair presentation focused on the topics of KRITIS, resilience and protection against hybrid threats. According to the company, the FORTLOX Series in particular attracted considerable interest from trade visitors.
