STATE OF SECURITY 2026

January 30, 2026

Security conference at the Brandenburg Gate focuses on corporate protection in the age of artificial intelligence

On 3 June 2026, Berlin will once again become a meeting place for leading experts from the fields of security, business, technology and politics. The Allianz Forum, located in the immediate vicinity of the Brandenburg Gate, will host the STATE OF SECURITY 2026 security conference – an established platform for interdisciplinary exchange on strategic issues relating to corporate and infrastructure protection.

This year’s conference will focus on the theme ‘A Secure Future – Corporate Protection in the Age of AI’ (working title). The event will address one of the central challenges of modern security strategies: the influence of artificial intelligence on threat situations, protection concepts, decision-making processes and regulatory frameworks.

Artificial intelligence as a driver of new security architectures

The working title of the conference already makes it clear that artificial intelligence will play a key role in the agenda of STATE OF SECURITY 2026. AI is not only changing attack and threat scenarios, but also opening up new possibilities for prevention, detection and response in corporate security. The conference will therefore address technological, legal, organisational and ethical issues surrounding the use of intelligent systems in corporate security architecture.

The final agenda will be published by the end of February at the latest. However, it is already clear that the focus will be on practical insights, strategic perspectives and high-calibre discussion formats.

High-ranking speakers confirmed

Renowned personalities from the fields of AI, law, cybersecurity, digital transformation and state security have already confirmed their participation:

  • Franziska Weindauer, Managing Director of TÜV AI.Lab
  • Dr Carolin Schilling-Schulz, lawyer and partner at ARNECKE SIBETH DABELSTEIN
  • Dennis-Kenji Kipker, Research Director at the cyberintelligence institute and member of the Supervisory Board of NordVPN
  • Key Pousttchi, Founder of the Institute for Digital Transformation GmbH
  • Günter Welsch, CIO and Head of the Cryptotechnology Department at the Federal Office for Information Security

This line-up underscores the conference’s aim to take a holistic look at technological innovations, regulatory requirements and strategic security issues.
