Tdsi, a manufacturer of integrated access control and security solutions, has announced that the company will operate under the new name Tdsi by Hirsch from 1 January 2026. The name change is part of the global reorganisation of the parent company Vitaprotech, which will operate under the name Hirsch Group in future and bundle its security brands worldwide under a single umbrella brand.
For more than 40 years, Tdsi’s integrated access control solutions have been at the heart of thousands of installations in educational institutions, healthcare, the public sector and commercial environments – both in the UK and internationally. This long-standing expertise will remain the basis of the service portfolio in the future. Through greater integration into the Hirsch Group, the existing range of services will now be expanded in a targeted manner. Customers will have access to Hirsch’s comprehensive portfolio in the areas of high-security access control, perimeter protection and video surveillance. This creates one of the most comprehensive and coherent security offerings on the British market, which sensibly complements and further develops proven solutions.
According to the company, the new Tdsi by Hirsch brand reflects the Hirsch Group’s strategic vision of harmonising security solutions worldwide, continuously innovating and scaling internationally without compromising continuity and reliability for long-standing customers.

Tdsi has been part of the Vitaprotech Group since 2019, with Hirsch following in 2024. From 1 January 2026, the group of security providers will operate under the internationally established name Hirsch. This name stands for premium positioning, trust at government level and a clear global focus. Eric Thord remains CEO, supported by Steven Humphreys as Deputy CEO. Together, they pursue a strategy that combines global orientation with local implementation and provides innovative, interoperable security solutions that are precisely tailored to the respective market requirements.
