Teledyne Flir Defense has received an order from the Bundeswehr to provide the Black Hornet 4 reconnaissance system. The two-year contract includes the delivery of drones, spare parts and training.
The Black Hornet 4 is a lightweight nano-drone reconnaissance system with high-resolution camera and thermal imaging technology. It offers soldiers improved covert situational awareness. Teledyne Flir is working with its German partner European Logistic Partners (ELP), which is the contractual partner for the Federal Office for Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support of the Bundeswehr (BAAINBw).
