CM Security has received the first VdS certification for a wireless system in accordance with the current highest security requirements in the field of burglar and assault alarm systems.

Cologne, September 2026. The accreditation process focused on demonstrating compliance with Security Class B of the VdS 3106 guidelines and thus the highest level of security for wireless burglary and personal attack alarm systems. In particular, the CM2060/70 wireless intrusion control panel, the CM0226 wireless gateway and selected wireless sensors from the CM Security GmbH system were tested by VdS’s independent and accredited laboratory for electronic security technology for reliability, effectiveness, tamper resistance and extended cyber security requirements, with positive results.

A new benchmark in security: VdS-approved wireless systems

VdS approval in accordance with VdS 3106 guidelines automatically ensures compliance with the requirements of the European standard EN 50131-5-3 (Grade 3), as confirmed by an accredited laboratory in Germany. In practical terms, this means that the CM-Security wireless system is not only extremely resistant to radio interference, but can also reliably detect and report attempts at sabotage – such as those involving jammers. In practice, this results in the highest level of reliability: even under adverse conditions, alarm transmission remains operational.
