Full house at the BHE Conference on Video Security and Access Control

May 5, 2026

The BHE specialist conference on “Video Security/Access Control”, held on 21–22 April 2026, was a hit with participants, exhibitors and speakers alike. The two-day event offered the approximately 260 attendees the opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions about modern security solutions and to make new contacts. Both the exhibition and the conference seats were fully booked.

The programme of presentations provided valuable insights into state-of-the-art video and access technologies, offered exciting glimpses into successful practical projects, and delivered important legal and regulatory information. The topics of “Video Security including Perimeter Protection” and “Access Control” were covered in two parallel sessions.

The presentations covered a broad spectrum of current topics: from networked perimeter and video security solutions, through new legal challenges in AI-supported video applications, to modern access and visitor management concepts in KRITIS companies. The new application rules in accordance with IEC 62676-4:2025 and the practical implementation of the Cyber Resilience Act were also discussed.

The event concluded with a joint panel discussion on ‘Preventing burglary in industry, retail and KRITIS’, in which the experts, together with the audience, explored the potential and limitations of modern technologies.

As part of the integrated exhibition, 22 suppliers presented modern video, perimeter and access solutions, offering interested visitors the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information.

To round off the first day of the conference, the ever-popular evening industry get-together provided further opportunities for networking in a relaxed atmosphere. The next BHE specialist conference on “Video Security/Access Control” will take place in 2028.
