The WinGuard system has been successfully certified in accordance with VdS guideline 3534. The certification applies to WinGuard X5 from version 5.29 onwards and confirms that the system meets the high requirements for software-based PSIM systems, as specified in particular for safety-critical applications, control center environments, and complex infrastructures in accordance with DIN EN 50518. VdS 3534 is a recognized guideline for PSIM systems that centrally receive, process, document, and control messages from security systems in a manner appropriate to the situation. It ensures that different systems can be reliably linked together and that the underlying software has a high level of operational reliability. This includes stable system architectures, redundancy concepts, secure update mechanisms, and the protection of sensitive data using suitable encryption methods.
