BDGW Board re-elected

November 9, 2022

Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Geld- und Wertdienstleister (BDGW) unanimously re-elected all board members at their annual members’ meeting in Berlin.

With the renewed re-election, Michael Mewes, board member of Cash Logistik Security AG, who was first elected in 2008, has now been chairman of the BDGW board for 14 years. “Our industry is facing a challenging market situation. The consolidation and recognition of our significant role in the cash cycle and thus our position as part of the critical infrastructure, the reduction of state competition and our mission to keep cash in circulation economically and securely with progressive and efficient work will be the focal points of the association’s work for the coming term of office of the board,” says Mewes. He will tackle these issues together with his five colleagues on the Board. The board colleagues come from small, medium and large companies in the industry and thus reflect the structure of BDGW’s members, Mewes said.

The members also acknowledged the work of the vice-chairmen, Hans-Jörg Hisam, managing director of Ziemann Sicherheit GmbH, Ingo Hartmann, managing director of DWSI Geld- und Wert-Logistik GmbH & Co, Dr Markus Lehnert, managing director of BS Beck Sicherheitsdienst GmbH & Co. KG, Uwe Wendorf, Managing Director of ExSiRo GmbH Rostock, and Heath White, Managing Director of Prosegur Cash Services Germany GmbH, through their re-election.

The members of the BDGW board would like to thank the members for the trust they have placed in them.
