Portable entrance control solution targets construction sites and evolving infrastructure projects

Boon Edam has expanded its entrance control portfolio with the Turnlock 100 Mobile Platform, a portable full-height turnstile developed for construction sites, temporary facilities and other environments where security perimeters frequently change.
Unlike permanently installed entrance systems, the mobile platform can be deployed and relocated without trenching, foundations or permanent anchoring. Mounted on a forklift-ready steel base, the unit is designed for rapid repositioning as project requirements evolve.
The system supports integration with card readers, biometric authentication and other access control technologies, helping organisations strengthen site security while preventing unauthorised entry and tailgating.
According to Boon Edam, the solution addresses growing demands for workforce accountability, regulatory compliance, theft prevention and site safety across large construction and infrastructure projects. Its mobility allows security measures to adapt as access points and project layouts change throughout different construction phases.
