Keenfinity is taking the next step in the development of its security portfolio. Effective 1 September 2026, the former Intrusion & Access business has been separated into two dedicated companies: Radionix, specialising in intrusion alarm systems, and Micos, focused exclusively on access control. Both companies remain wholly owned subsidiaries of Keenfinity Group and will pursue independent strategies in their respective markets while retaining the technologies, expertise and quality standards of the existing businesses.
For customers and partners, Keenfinity says the organisational restructuring will not change the products and solutions currently in use. In intrusion detection, Radionix will continue to build on established Bosch technologies while introducing future innovations under the Radionix brand. In access control, the existing Bosch solutions will likewise remain unchanged and continue to be developed, manufactured and supported by the same experienced teams.
The separation follows the transformation of the businesses after their carve-out from Bosch and is intended to give intrusion detection and access control greater strategic independence.
Phil Dutoy takes the helm at Radionix
Radionix will concentrate entirely on intrusion alarm systems, drawing on a technology heritage spanning almost six decades. The company intends to develop its position in intelligent intrusion detection while placing particular emphasis on ease of deployment, scalable integrations, building management and partnerships across the wider security ecosystem.
Phil Dutoy has been appointed CEO of Radionix. He joined Keenfinity Group in 2025 and played a central role in the company’s transformation following the Bosch carve-out, contributing to its strategic direction, operating model and value creation agenda. Before joining Keenfinity, Dutoy held senior positions at Strategy&, part of PwC, where he advised international organisations on growth strategies, business transformation and performance improvement.
Hubertus Muehlhaeuser, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Keenfinity Group, sees Radionix as well positioned to strengthen its presence in intrusion solutions. The company’s priorities under Dutoy will include advancing its product roadmap, strengthening customer relationships and expanding its role within the broader security ecosystem.
Dutoy himself emphasises the company’s established reputation for reliability and performance. Going forward, Radionix intends to combine this heritage with further innovation and industry partnerships, while making deployment and integration of its systems easier and more scalable.
Micos returns as a dedicated access control company
The access control business, meanwhile, will operate under the Micos name. Its reintroduction reconnects the company with more than four decades of access control heritage while providing a dedicated corporate platform for future development and international growth.
Gregor Schlechtriem has been appointed CEO of Micos. He previously led the combined Intrusion & Access business through its transition from Bosch and the launch of the Radionix brand. His responsibilities will now focus exclusively on developing Micos and strengthening its position in the global access control market.
Importantly, the restructuring does not represent a break with the existing access control portfolio. The Bosch access control solutions familiar to customers will continue to be developed, manufactured and supported by the existing specialist teams.
The creation of Radionix and Micos therefore represents primarily a strategic and organisational separation rather than a technological discontinuity. Keenfinity is giving two established security disciplines their own management structures, brands and development strategies while maintaining continuity in products, expertise and customer support.
For the market, the next stage will show whether this greater specialisation enables the two businesses to accelerate their respective product roadmaps and establish more distinct positions within the increasingly integrated global electronic security ecosystem.
