Klüh continues to grow and focuses on digital sustainability strategies

May 3, 2026

Klüh Service Management has continued its growth trajectory in the 2025 financial year. As outlined in the latest sustainability report, the group increased its turnover to €1.108 billion, representing a 3.6 per cent increase on the previous year. Despite a challenging market environment, both domestic business and international activities performed steadily.

The Cleaning, Security, Catering and Clinic Service divisions made a particularly strong contribution to total turnover. With a share of 30.7 per cent, international business remained an important stabilising factor.

Digitalisation and sustainability as a growth strategy

According to the company, Klüh continues to focus consistently on combining digitalisation, sustainability and service-oriented business models. The aim is to combine economically efficient services with resource-saving processes.

An important technological step in 2025 was the commissioning of the company’s own alarm reception, emergency call and service control centre within the Security division. By combining networked technologies, qualified staff and standardised processes, the platform is designed to enable faster response times and more efficient security procedures.

In doing so, the company is responding to the growing demand for integrated security solutions in which digital systems and operational security services are more closely interlinked.

Focus on smart building services

Klüh also continued to invest in digital processes within the building cleaning sector. The company’s own “Eco System for Smart Services” was expanded to manage cleaning and building services in a more data-driven manner.

Via digital ticketing systems, staff receive tasks in real time on mobile devices. At the same time, dashboards enable flexible management of on-demand services. Cleaning services can thus be better adapted to actual room usage and occupancy.

A concrete example is the digital support for Legionella prevention in the care sector. Here, digital documentation processes help to implement legally required records efficiently and transparently.

AI against food waste

In the catering division, Klüh also further developed its AI-supported waste management system. The system analyses when and why food is discarded. New scanner solutions for the automated weighing of returned meals are set to enable more precise portion planning in future.

In this way, the company combines economic efficiency with sustainability goals aimed at reducing food waste.

EUREF Campus as an innovation hub

Klüh presents innovative service concepts at the EUREF Campus in Düsseldorf, amongst other locations. There, the company demonstrates solutions for modern and sustainable building management in changing work environments.

Employer brand further expanded

In addition to technological developments, Klüh also invested in staff development and employer attractiveness. The employer branding campaign “I don’t work for just anyone” was continued in 2025 and received the German Brand Award.

Through the “Küchenheld” training programme, the company also supports employees without formal qualifications on their path to recognised vocational qualifications.

Furthermore, Klüh was once again recognised for its applicant management and received the Top Company seal from the employer platform kununu for the fifth consecutive year.

Conclusion

The 2025 Sustainability Report shows that Klüh is increasingly linking digitalisation, sustainability and staff development. In particular, the combination of data-driven services, AI-supported processes and integrated security and building solutions illustrates how facility services are currently evolving technologically.
