New major release: Siedle Access Professional 7.0 – Full video range for IP door communication

Siedle is optimizing its IP system Access Professional with a focus on video features. The new Major Release 7.0 offers comprehensive concierge video functions and integrates external IP cameras. In addition, a new licensing model simplifies the integration of additional system functions. For users, this makes the powerful system more flexible than ever before.

Access Professional 7.0 offers essential video features for more security and comfort in residential complexes with concierge, in industrial and commercial complexes with gatekeepers, and in buildings with sensitive areas under video surveillance.

Concierge camera

The new concierge camera function forwards the video image from an IP camera in the reception area to internal subscribers. This allows residents to view their visitors before deciding who to receive.

Door video forwarding

Another new feature is door video forwarding. This function transmits the camera image of a video door station to an internal subscriber as soon as the concierge calls him. The resident first speaks to the concierge and at the same time already sees the visitor in front of the intercom. If desired, the concierge can establish the direct speech connection.

The new video features can also be combined. The concierge then controls the image transmission depending on the specific location of a visitor.

Both functions are extensions of the access software Concierge (ASC 170) and can be used free of charge without additional user licences.

Integration of external IP cameras

With the new release, in addition to the Concierge camera, IP cameras can also be used to monitor sensitive or security-relevant areas, for example in underground car parks.

Up to ten IP cameras with video streams can be used per Siedle Access server. Specific streams can be selected for monitoring, either in live mode with up to four streams on one screen simultaneously or as a camera scan with automatically changing image sequence.

New licensing model

As an open IP system, Siedle Access Professional can be configured for practically every conceivable application. Release 7.0 also offers a new licensing model: This allows system functions which are not part of the standard scope of Access Professional to be added more easily and quickly than ever before. By purchasing application licences in the web shop, desired function modules can be downloaded and activated immediately, for example, call memory, lift control or customer-specific functions in connection with the manufacturer’s Access Service Centre.

Upgrade for Access Professional 7.0

The upgrade licence for version 7.0 is available free of charge for all Access Professional systems with a Siedle maintenance contract and for systems installed less than 12 months ago. Older systems can be brought up to date with an upgrade for which a charge is made.

Siedle Access Professional 7.0 is available with immediate effect. [www.siedle.de/access]
