Paxton set to bring game-changing new system this April

March 17, 2026

This April, Paxton will launch Solo, a brand-new access control system, designed to transform how installers and end users manage security. Developed by Paxton technology specialists and backed by 40 years of industry innovation, the system is phone-based and cloud-hosted, marking the beginning of a new era in access control.

Adam Stroud, Paxton’s CEO, explains: “We’re always exploring how evolving technology can help Paxton installers and customers. By starting with a blank sheet of paper and looking at the technology available today, we’ve developed something truly game-changing that is simple, elegant, and a practical solution that will open new possibilities in access control. April marks the start of a new era, and we can’t wait for installers to see what’s possible.”

Access control is evolving fast. Installers and end users are looking for systems that are simple to install, easy to manage remotely, and flexible enough to scale. Mobile credentials are on the rise, and security expectations remain higher than ever.

In response, Paxton has been exploring how emerging technologies can reshape access control for the modern world and is set to deliver its biggest technology year yet.

Installers interested in experiencing the new technology first-hand can do so at the Paxton Tech Tour, running at great locations throughout the UK in the spring and summer of this year.

Attendees will get the first look at Solo and a free one door kit, as well as learn how to fit and benefit, and get exclusive updates on Net2, Paxton10, PaxLock & Entry.
