New 4K displays from AG Neovo set new standards for commercial digital signage applications

September 5, 2025

With the introduction of the two new models QM4303 (43 inches) and QM5503 (55 inches), renowned display manufacturer AG Neovo is launching a remarkable update to its proven QM series. The devices combine 4K Ultra HD resolution, high brightness and flexible control options, making them ideal for demanding digital signage installations in public institutions, retail, hospitality and corporate environments.

The revised QM series brings significant improvements – most notably the increased brightness of 500 nits, which enables excellent visibility even in bright indoor environments. This underlines AG Neovo’s commitment to providing robust and professional display solutions for 24/7 use – with a clear focus on image quality, reliability, flexibility and user-friendliness.

High image quality at the heart

At the heart of the new series is the razor-sharp 4K Ultra HD resolution with 3840 × 2160 pixels, which enables detailed display and reproduces even fine fonts, complex infographics or high-resolution videos clearly and authentically. The brightness of 500 cd/m² ensures that content is optimally displayed even in brightly lit environments – such as shop windows, reception areas or conference rooms.

Another important factor is the anti-glare coating, which effectively reduces reflections. This ensures that content remains clearly legible even when the screens are installed directly opposite glass surfaces, under ceiling lighting or in areas exposed to sunlight. These features ensure that information is clearly visible at all times, regardless of the viewer’s position or the lighting conditions on site.

In addition, the displays offer excellent viewing angle stability: colours and contrasts remain accurate even from side positions, so that content appears undistorted from almost any viewing angle. This is particularly advantageous in rooms with public traffic, where viewers rarely stand directly in front of the screen.

Anti-Burn-in™ for lasting image quality

Specially designed for applications where displays need to show the same content for many hours at a time – such as digital signage, menu boards, occupancy displays or security information – the new QM models feature AG Neovo’s proven Anti-Burn-in™ technology. This reliably prevents static image elements from burning in, protecting the panels from so-called ghost images.

Combined with approval for continuous 24/7 operation, the displays are ideally suited for tough everyday use in security-critical infrastructures such as government offices, hospitals or railway stations. Operators benefit from long-term stable image quality that remains intact even after years of intensive use.

Flexible mounting – portrait or landscape format

The QM series can be installed in both landscape and portrait formats. This versatility opens up numerous design options for planners and integrators to showcase content to its best advantage. Whether vertical menu boards in fast food restaurants, digital timetables in transport companies or horizontal information displays in waiting areas – the devices can be adapted to a wide range of requirements.

The slim and modern housing design is deliberately understated, so that the audience’s attention is focused entirely on the content. The narrow bezel also allows for use in multi-part video wall solutions where homogeneous transitions and a uniform image area are required.

Connection variety for professional integration

A key feature of the new displays is their extensive connection variety. Each model is equipped with two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a USB 2.0 port for direct media playback and a modern USB-C port that enables both data transfer and power supply. This allows laptops or compact media players, for example, to be connected with just one cable – an advantage for installations that require quick and easy integration.

The integrated stereo speakers, each with an output of 10 watts, provide sufficient audio playback for many applications, often eliminating the need for additional sound equipment. Separate audio inputs and outputs via 3.5 mm jack sockets are also available for professional setups.

A practical detail is the option of HDMI power/control synchronisation. This allows multiple displays to be switched on and off or put into standby mode simultaneously. This function saves a considerable amount of time and effort, especially in chain stores, fast food restaurants or company headquarters with many screens operating in parallel.

Convenient control and centralised management

Centralised management of displays is a crucial factor, especially in professional environments. The QM series offers remote control options via LAN or RS-232. In conjunction with the user-friendly Neovo Controller software, administrators can centrally control all important parameters such as input signals, brightness, switch-on and switch-off times, and source switching.

For operators with distributed locations – such as chain stores or public institutions – this means a significant reduction in maintenance costs. Integrators who maintain systems in safety-critical areas also benefit from centralised control, which minimises downtime and increases operational reliability.

Technical features in practice

The two models, the 43-inch QM4303 and the 55-inch QM5503, are based on the same technical platform and differ primarily in their screen size. Both have a 4K Ultra HD resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels and a brightness of 500 nits, providing razor-sharp images even in light-filled environments. The panel is equipped with an anti-glare coating that effectively reduces reflections.

Thanks to the integrated Anti-Burn-in™ technology, the displays are protected against burn-in effects, making them ideal for long-term use with static content. The approval for continuous 24/7 operation underlines their robustness, while the option of operating them in both portrait and landscape format ensures maximum flexibility during installation.

Two HDMI 2.0 interfaces, a USB 2.0 port, a USB-C port and 3.5 mm audio inputs and outputs are available for signal transmission. This is complemented by the integrated 2 × 10-watt speakers, which already offer sufficient audio quality in many scenarios. Professional users can control the displays via LAN, RS-232 or the Neovo Controller software, allowing them to be integrated into complex system environments.

The compact, modern housing with a slim frame also facilitates space-saving installations and contributes to elegant integration into a wide variety of architectures.

Wide range of applications – from retail to security environments

The new QM displays are designed for a wide range of applications. In retail and catering, they are ideal for use as menu boards, digital sales promotion areas or customer information systems. In offices, conference centres and universities, they serve as presentation areas, visitor information or digital signposts. In public institutions and transport facilities, on the other hand, they demonstrate their strengths in displaying safety instructions, room occupancy or emergency information.

The devices are particularly impressive in safety-relevant environments: thanks to their high brightness, burn-in protection, 24/7 operability and remote controllability, they are ideally suited for control centres, hospital foyers, reception areas or railway stations.

A consistent upgrade for practical use

With the revised QM series, AG Neovo is sending a strong signal to the market for professional digital signage solutions. The combination of high-resolution 4K technology, 500 nits brightness, burn-in protection, comprehensive connectivity, flexible installation and centralised remote control makes the displays an extremely attractive option for professional use.

The modern design, robustness in 24/7 operation and easy integration into existing infrastructures offer operators an economically sustainable solution that is suitable for both everyday applications and critical scenarios. From small retailers to international hotel chains, government agencies and large enterprises, AG Neovo’s new QM series impresses with its versatility, quality and durability.

The models will be available from distributors VIDEOR E. Hartig GmbH and Ingram Micro from early September, opening up new possibilities for users in digital communication and security technology.
