Axis Powered by Genetec at SecurityExpo

June 6, 2023

Genetec will showcase Axis Powered by Genetec and Synergis at booth F09 in Hall 2 at SicherheitsExpo in Munich, Germany.

Genetec Inc, a technology provider for unified security management, public safety and business intelligence, will be demonstrating the benefits of its all-in-one Axis Powered by Genetec solution and Synergis™ access control system to businesses and organisations looking to modernise their access control at SecurityExpo.

Axis Powered by Genetec is the industry’s first enterprise access control solution that combines Genetec access control software with Axis network door controllers in a single, easy-to-deploy all-in-one solution. This gives integrators hardware and software as a single unit – simplifying the installation process and reducing maintenance. At the same time, cybersecurity features are integrated at the hardware and software level from the outset. Axis is the first partner in the new Powered by Genetec programme.

Synergis IP access control is an open system and one of the core modules of Genetec’s unified security platform, Security Center. It enables the integration of a wide and ever-growing range of third-party access control devices. By seamlessly integrating with video surveillance and other security systems, Security Center provides operational and security insights, enabling informed decision-making and operational optimisation. This gives companies a more comprehensive picture and enables them to react quickly based on these insights.

Physical security is mission-critical

In recent years, physical security has become a strategic resource to address a variety of challenges. In Genetec’s State of Physical Security survey, 64% of IT respondents and 54% of security respondents said cybersecurity tools are a key issue. 52 % want to invest in modernising their access control systems. Open systems are particularly sought after in order to overcome barriers between proprietary solutions and reduce expenses.

“More and more companies are planning to switch to an open system. We are convinced that with solutions such as our unified security platform, companies increase their overall security and additionally open up operational optimisation potential,” says Andreas Flemming, Regional Sales Manager Germany at Genetec.

Trade fair visitors will have the opportunity to talk to experts on site and find out how easy it is to modernise their own systems and switch to a centrally managed access control system. Genetec can be found in Hall 2, Stand F09, at SicherheitsExpo, taking place in Munich from 28-29 June 2023.
