With the new eCLIQ cylinder padlocks of the 319 series, ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH is expanding its product portfolio of the IKON brand for very high demands on mobile security in any application area – extreme weather and weather conditions included.
Cylinder padlocks are suitable for the flexible protection of valuable materials and goods located inside and outside a building. They are mainly used to secure equipment and construction vehicles, trailers and containers as well as basement rooms. Due to their particularly robust and universal design, the new high-quality eCLIQ cylinder padlocks 319 can also be used excellently in very remote KRITIS outdoor areas that are exposed to adverse environmental conditions, for example in machine or oil tank protection. Whether a remote construction site or construction container in the desert, a port facility on the edge of the Arctic or freight containers on international trade routes: The new locks can be used practically anywhere in the world.
High security against manipulation
With the test certificate according to DIN EN 16864, the new cylinder padlock Series 319 meets the high security requirements of Class 4 against attacks and manipulation attempts. The hardened steel shackle with a diameter of 11.1 millimetres provides additional protection. The solid construction as a full steel housing in combination with high-quality locking cylinders also allows a very high level of break-open and theft protection, which distinguishes the eCLIQ cylinder padlocks for use in particularly sensitive security areas. Due to the high weather resistance, this also applies to locations with extreme weather conditions.
Suitable for every area of application
The available clear shackle heights of 27, 50 or 75 millimetres allow for an extremely flexible use of the new lock series. On request, there is also a version with a high shoulder and a shackle height of 27 millimetres, which additionally protects the shackle against attacks. Furthermore, the cylinder padlocks are suitable for use in Zone 1 hazardous areas. Additional flexibility is provided by the M5 thread on the side for attaching an anti-tamper device.
Weather protection as standard
Extreme environmental or weather conditions cannot harm the innovative eCLIQ cylinder padlocks – they are protected against moisture and dirt according to IP67 standard and are equipped with a silicone protective cap as standard. This is resistant to heat and ageing and is available as an accessory, as is the optionally available dust and rain protection cap for the built-in locking cylinder (SUR=3).
