ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH is expanding its proven local management solution for CLIQ® locking systems with convenient remote functionalities. With the new CLIQ® Local Manager (CLM) remote software for CLIQ® programmable key access systems, security managers now have access to many time-saving management options even without an internet connection.

The new remote functionality makes CLIQ® Local Manager more powerful than ever before. “Security managers gain complete control over user key access authorisations from any PC through this extension to their locally installed management software – without having to connect the system to the Internet or change existing CLIQ® components,” explains Alexander Kroll, CLIQ® Product Manager at ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH.

Use of up to three programming devices simultaneously
The extended range of functions is made possible by an additional controller. Via standard LAN cable, this controller receives the orders and changes coming from the CLIQ® Local Manager and forwards them to up to three programming devices. These do not have to be located near the controller, but only within the same network. Both indoor and outdoor wall-mounted programmers can be integrated. The new solution works without restrictions with all new and existing keys of the fully electronic locking system eCLIQ as well as all new and existing keys from the production date 2016 for the electromechanical systems VERSO® CLIQ and +CLIQ. In the process, workflows are simplified and processes streamlined.

Efficient key management for administrators, employees and service providers
CLIQ® Local Manager Remote is designed for small and medium-sized businesses, giving them even better and, above all, more efficient control over their premises. Security managers get powerful new tools to handle daily management tasks in a user-friendly and secure way. Via a personalised start screen with intuitive menu access and search function, PIN-protected and DSGVO-compliant locking logs can be retrieved, key validations checked, schedules adjusted and much more – directly from the software. This also means great benefits for employees and contractors: instead of having to visit the central administration office every time on a deadline, they flexibly update their access rights at central and easily accessible locations – closer to their workplace.
