barox Kommunikation AG, a global manufacturer of professional standard switches, PoE media converters and IP extenders, has introduced a new plug-in that significantly expands the operating options for the MOBOTIX HUB VMS.

The new DMS-SNMP plug-in enhances the usability of MOBOTIX HUB, underscoring barox’s commitment to providing network solutions tailored to the needs of the modern video security market.

Thanks to its easy integration into the barox Ethernet switch family, MOBOTIX HUB provides users and installers with a very helpful tool for configuring and operating video networks, minimizing the time and effort required to set up the devices.

In addition, the barox MOBOTIX HUB plug-in provides seamless VMS access to specific switch functions, allowing installers and operators to better manage their security network and connected devices.

Smart-barox provides a live graphical overview of the network topology with a wealth of valuable network information. With Smart-barox, VMS system diagnostic data displays the status of cameras and switches and enables quick location of network and device problems.
