BVSW SecTec: New congress for security technology in Munich

February 21, 2024

BVSW SecTec will celebrate its premiere on 11 and 12 July 2024: This new congress will highlight security technology from different perspectives and offer companies a unique, integrated exhibition concept to present their products and solutions.

“Security technology is a very diverse and dynamic subject area,” says BVSW Managing Director Caroline Eder. “With BVSW SecTec, we not only want to showcase the latest innovations and trends in security technology, but also offer a comprehensive insight into legal and regulatory aspects as well as consulting and planning topics. The congress is open to all interested parties.” BVSW SecTec is a platform for the exchange of ideas, best practices and innovative solutions and aims to look at security technology in its entirety and find the best options for companies. Three components of the event emphasise its holistic character: lectures and presentations convey the latest trends to visitors. The first day of the congress will focus on the security aspects of critical infrastructures.

The latest technological developments, such as artificial intelligence in video analysis, drones and robots in property protection or IT protection for security-relevant technical systems, will be the focus of the second day of the event. With the lunch-to-lunch format and the appealing location “NH Munich East Conference Centre” in the east of Munich, BVSW SecTec provides the ideal setting for networking and exchange. An atmospheric evening event on the first day of the congress rounds off the concept. Another core element is the optimal integration of the exhibiting companies: The exhibition area is located between the catering and lecture rooms and the stands are designed in such a way that there are plenty of opportunities to talk to visitors and present your own solutions. “The BVSW SecTec concept incorporates our many years of experience as organisers of top-class security events, as well as the experience we have gained as visitors to a wide variety of security trade fairs in Germany and abroad,” says Caroline Eder. “From this, we have developed a completely new concept that takes into account the interests of all participants in the best possible way and offers real added value for everyone.”
