F24 Nordics expands its market position in Scandinavia

F24 Nordics expands its leading market position in Scandinavia by acquiring FramWeb AS, the region’s leading provider of mass alerting.

With this step, F24 becomes the clear market leader for alerting and crisis management in Norway and significantly increases its market presence in Scandinavia. FramWeb’s products are in use in almost every Norwegian municipality, providing vital service notifications for water supply, waste management and other municipal services. With the help of Framweb’s solutions, energy companies also warn of a lack of electricity. FramWeb also counts companies and government institutions from all over Scandinavia among its customers. In recent years, the company has grown strongly, especially in the emergency sector, and has won police, fire brigade and sea rescue units as customers. Marius Røstad, Managing Director and Vice President Engineering at F24 Nordics AS, says: “We are very pleased to welcome FramWeb to the F24 family, creating an even stronger presence in Scandinavia. Our product offerings are almost complementary and this is very good news for our combined customer base, which will definitely benefit from this move.”

F24 establishes itself as a comprehensive resilience provider

FramWeb AS’ existing management team, including CEO Vegard Aune, will retain their roles and continue to work at F24. “We are pleased to join F24 with its comprehensive global presence. Being part of this international company offers great opportunities for our existing customers and allows us to support them comprehensively. F24 will strengthen our growth strategy in the emergency sector, but will also help us to offer even better service messaging systems to our existing customers. We are very much looking forward to shaping our future together,” says Vegard Aune.

Dr. Jörg Rahmer, Spokesman of the Board of Directors of the F24 Group, explains: “We as the F24 Group are consistently continuing our growth course. FramWeb’s products fit perfectly into our portfolio, especially in the Nordic countries, and allow us to offer our customers a holistic business resilience offering. This is an important step towards our goal of establishing F24 as the leading comprehensive resilience provider.”
