Security Management Consultancy VICCON celebrates its 25th anniversary

January 16, 2025

Threats in cyberspace are increasing daily and are becoming more and more complex. This makes it all the more important for companies to know their weak points, to address them and to establish a security management system. For 25 years, we have been making the business world a little safer as a management consultancy – our experienced consultants bring their expertise in particular to the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) in German companies.

Since its foundation in January 2000 by Guido Gluschke, VICCON has been dedicated to the major security issues of the present and the future, advising companies on all areas of information security and IT security, risk management, business continuity management and compliance. Our consulting work focuses in particular on companies with critical infrastructures (KRITIS), such as the energy, industrial and automotive sectors, but our customer base also includes transport and residential construction companies, as well as banks and insurance companies.

VICCON supports organisations in particular in understanding security-relevant developments, building the necessary competencies and processes for them, and mastering them securely. Through intensive dialogue and research, VICCON develops suitable strategies for secure and resilient organisations, supports digital transformation and advises on the implementation of these strategies in the form of next-generation security management. For many years, the VICCON team has been working closely with customers from a wide range of industries on projects, adapting process design to the specific challenges of the times, individual customer needs and the industry.

Whether sports car manufacturer or transmission operator, we always look at our customers’ organisations holistically: value chains, processes, people, culture and technology. Together, in dialogue with all levels of the company, a suitable orientation for the security policy is then developed based on the different requirements.

If you need advice on NIS2 compliance, setting up an information security management system or risk management, we are your competent point of contact and will be happy to apply our many years of expertise to your company’s day-to-day operations.
