Practical formats, expert discussions, and valuable networking opportunities defined FeuerTrutz 2026. The successful partnership between NürnbergMesse and RM Rudolf Müller Medien has also been extended, ensuring that the event will remain in Nuremberg for the long term.

FeuerTrutz 2026 once again confirmed its position as Europe’s leading trade fair for preventive fire protection. Held on 24 and 25 June at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, the event attracted approximately 6,900 trade visitors, marking a significant increase from the 6,600 visitors recorded in 2025. A total of 248 exhibitors presented innovative products, technologies, and services, underlining the event’s importance as the industry’s leading marketplace. The accompanying Fire Protection Congress also achieved an excellent result, welcoming 1,394 participants.

Throughout the two-day event, the exhibition halls were characterised by a dynamic and highly professional atmosphere. Exhibitors, planners, engineers, fire protection experts, and decision-makers took advantage of numerous opportunities to exchange ideas, discuss current challenges, and establish new business contacts.

Phillip Blass, Director of FeuerTrutz, commented:

“FeuerTrutz 2026 once again demonstrated the strength of professional exchange within the fire protection community. The openness, commitment, and willingness to share expertise were truly impressive. My sincere thanks go to everyone involved and to our partner, RM Rudolf Müller Medien, for two highly successful days.”

Diverse Supporting Programme with a Strong Practical Focus

The proven combination of trade exhibition, Fire Protection Congress, and extensive supporting programme once again proved highly successful. While exhibitors showcased the latest solutions in preventive fire protection, the congress delivered in-depth insights into current technical and regulatory developments.

The FeuerTrutz Arena served as one of the event’s central platforms, attracting consistently high attendance for expert presentations, panel discussions, and practical case studies.

Practical experience remained another key focus. The ERLEBNIS Brandschutz (Fire Protection Experience) area was further expanded, offering additional indoor and outdoor live demonstrations that showcased materials, systems, and modern firefighting technologies. These demonstrations enabled visitors to experience fire protection solutions under realistic conditions.

A new highlight this year was the ZUKUNFTSRAUM (Future Space), dedicated to emerging trends shaping the future of fire protection. Presentations and discussions explored topics including digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and evolving workplace environments.

Meanwhile, the FeuerTrutz Studio provided a platform where industry experts and congress speakers discussed current developments in fire safety while presenting innovative products and technologies.

Fire Protection Congress Strengthens Knowledge Exchange

The Fire Protection Congress once again formed the intellectual centrepiece of FeuerTrutz. With 1,394 participants, including 249 online attendees, the congress continued its positive growth trajectory.

Approximately 40 expert presentations addressed key industry topics, including fire protection concepts, technical building services planning, fire protection in existing buildings and timber construction, developments in building regulations and standards, as well as the opportunities and challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence in planning, testing, and evaluation.

Participants particularly valued the combination of high-level knowledge transfer and direct professional exchange. Guided thematic tours further connected theoretical expertise with practical applications showcased on the exhibition floor.

André Gesellchen, Head of the FeuerTrutz Programme at RM Rudolf Müller Medien, emphasised the congress’s continuing importance:

“The Fire Protection Congress remains the industry’s central meeting place. The renewed increase in attendance clearly demonstrates the growing importance of professional dialogue and the joint discussion of current challenges.”

Networking in a Relaxed Summer Atmosphere

Alongside the technical programme, networking remained one of the event’s defining features. The sold-out FeuerTrutz After Work once again ranked among the exhibition’s highlights, providing an ideal setting for informal conversations, networking, and business discussions in a relaxed summer atmosphere.

Additional networking formats throughout the event further encouraged professional exchange beyond the exhibition stands.

FeuerTrutz Secures Its Future in Nuremberg

A major announcement during this year’s event was the extension of the successful partnership between NürnbergMesseand RM Rudolf Müller Medien. The collaboration has been renewed through at least 2031, ensuring that the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre will remain the long-term home of FeuerTrutz and continue serving as one of Europe’s most important meeting places for preventive fire protection professionals.

Save the Date

The next edition of FeuerTrutz will take place in Nuremberg on 16–17 June 2027.
